I'm reading Butter too and I can't stop thinking about rice with butter & soy sauce lol - so good!

oh I'd love to hear what you think about the book! yes, things have been especially chaotic lately and I haven't baked anything. but that will change soon, chaos continuing or not lol

I like to take the kale stems and dice them, then saute them with onion/garlic/ginger, whatever, like part of the mire poix. I also think they would probably pickle well. I do the same with beet stems. Looks like I should start Butter.

I was happy with how the kale held up and could see substituting them for celery. I would love to try pickling them too, that sounds delicious. Butter is a good read, a little all over the place and I haven’t finished reading yet but I’m invested !
